This tournament will be for 16 teams maximum.
The format is BO1 single elimination until the final which will be a BO3.

The entry fee is £25 per team which will be payable to Joseph McGinley in 1levelup(glasgow) at a time arranged between me and the team captain in front of a member of their staff.

Prizing is still to be confirmed(We are waiting for Riot to get back to me).

The date for the LAN part of the tournament will be the 26th of May(a Sunday) the matches will be played in the afternoon between 2pm and 6pm in 1LevelUp(Glasgow) a gaming cafe in St Enoch’s Square. There will also be a “grind night” Held in 1LevelUp the night before, Which is charged at £10 a head for play between 10pm and 11am.

Over the two days, we will feature three fantastic singles tournaments in Super Street Fighter 4: AE 2012, Ultimate Marvel Versus Capcom 3, and King of Fighters 13. Plus two brilliant 3v3 team tournaments – Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

All the action will be taking place in Glasgow at the Thistle Hotel, the same great venue as before. Centrally located, you can stay at the venue or at a number of hotels and hostels close by. Further details on accommodation and travel can be found at the official Hypespotting website.

In association with Ready-Up and Guinness, this is the opportunity to show off your fighting games knowledge. Answering questions spanning the whole genre, you and your teammates could be taking home the fabulous prizes on offer.

In the lead up to the main event, The Road To Hypespotting is back – and this time you have the chance to win your venue and tournament entry! Kicking off in Edinburgh on 25^th November 2012, we will be taking in Glasgow, Aberdeen, and Dundee. Even if are unable to make those events, there will be further opportunities to win your entry – more exciting details to come!

• Computer Status - Here you can view the status of the Computers in the shop, see what machines are being used and what ones are not.  You can even see which of your friends are online, and what game they are currently playing! (more features will be added to this as time goes on)
• Contact us - This page has been greatly updated with a new layout, a build in google maps to show you how to get to us and a contact form for you to mail us all your questions and suggestions!
• News - This is a new addition to the 1levelup website, On the News page you can keep up to date on the goings on in and around the shop! Anything that doesn’t make it onto the featured section on the home page will be found in here.
• Pricing - This is another new addition to the 1levelup website, Here you will find the price list regarding the offers and hourly rates available at 1levelup. It will also be updated with any special offers and regular updates on the pricing offered!
• And the biggest revamp of all is by far the Home Page.
